TITLE: Librarian Branch Manager
LOCATION: Chatham Community Library, Pittsboro, NC

JOB SUMMARY: Position serves as branch manager of a busy community library. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing services to both public and community college patrons; circulation and acquisition activities; monitoring of the physical facility; preparation of reports; supervising circulation staff, the Children’s Librarian, and the Reference Librarian; and participation in committees and meetings. Work is performed under the supervision of the Library Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited institution with 3+ years of supervisory experience. Possess strong time management, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills. Must be willing to work in and promote a team environment both within the facility and within the department. Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment, and to focus on the delivery of excellent customer service.

SALARY RANGE: $47,291 – 60,296
